Today, we welcome a new team into our organization. We are excited to announce our arrival into Rocket League esports with the transfer of Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Season 3 World Champions Maestro, remkoe, and Deevo from Northern Gaming.
The roster won the latest RLCS championship title on June 4th in Los Angeles, CA assisted by substitute Turbopolsa who will not remain with the team. We are no doubt proud and thrilled to see what these guys can do in their future.
We are also pleased to announce that we are signing additional players into our Rocket League lineup to supplement the main roster. These players will represent the team in the upcoming Gfinity Elite Series alongside the new lineup announced today. We will release information about the additional players in the coming days.
Envy Team Owner and CEO Mike Rufail had this to say about the new team:
"We're very thankful for the opportunity to expand our organization into Rocket League with the best roster on the planet. With all of the great things Rocket League brings to esports, we hope our fans are excited to support these guys in their continued success. We also think we can help accelerate the growth of Rocket League as a competitive esports title in the future. That's one of our ultimate goals with this transaction alongside giving top tier support to these players."
